Who We Are

At Soroptimist International Club Kuwait, we are part of a global network of professional and businesswomen committed to creating positive change for women and girls—starting in our local communities and reaching across borders.

As Soroptimists, we work at the local, national, and international levels to Educate, Empower, and Enable women and girls, with the goal of improving lives and advancing gender equality.

Soroptimist International is a global volunteer movement of nearly 65,000 members in 118 countries, all united by a shared mission to make a meaningful and lasting impact.

Our Global Structure
Soroptimist International is comprised of five Federations that support and guide members in their respective regions:

-Soroptimist International Africa Federation

-Soroptimist International of the Americas

-Soroptimist International of Europe

-Soroptimist International of Great Britain & Ireland

-Soroptimist International of the South East Asia Pacific

Each Federation empowers its clubs to lead locally relevant, high-impact initiatives that reflect Soroptimist values and respond to the needs of women and girls in their region.

Our Federation: Soroptimist International of Europe (SIE)

Soroptimist Kuwait proudly belongs to the Soroptimist International of Europe (SIE) Federation—the largest of the five—representing over 29,000 members across Europe, the Middle East, and the Caribbean.

Through SIE, our members connect with a wider network of women who implement more than 4,000 projects annually, investing in initiatives that promote education, equality, economic empowerment, and women’s rights.

Our Local Impact: Soroptimist Kuwait

With a growing network of 50 passionate members, Soroptimist Kuwait is dedicated to driving change through community projects, advocacy, and partnerships that uplift women and girls across Kuwait.

We are proud to contribute to the global Soroptimist mission while ensuring that our efforts are locally meaningful, culturally responsive, and sustainably impactful.
